Besides running into a couple of wondering cats and the occasional vagabond, its not a bad place. The staff is great. There are mini fridges and microwaves in the rooms. I believe this place can be a great establishment if given a nice makeover. I can feel the potential. Plus i love the fact that they work with organizations such as the dept of public health in providing rooms for their clients.
Clean and quiet.,update; I was moved 3 times since I rviered.so far TV is not working and the place is swimming with roaches.no guests allowed and owner is making it like jail.
My favorite place to stay it's not all that but it's comfortable. I wish they would have a discount on returning customers who stay 4+ nights, that would be so awesome. And also they have a pool which is cool to do some laps in and a heart shaped jacuzzi but lately it hasn't been functioning correctly. It's a bummer because I pay for a room $85-91 dollars a night. I would like to take advantage and use the jacuzzi to relax..and get what I pay for.
So far so good.., last night was a success the beds were beyond super comfortable. I haven't slept on a soft bed like that in a while. Everything is nearby and room has nice wooden floor. Has a apartment kinda vibe here. We had to rearrange furniture and plug in appliances in room when we arrived but overall so far it's been great. (No elevators) but overall nice spot.
A nice place to stay, the manager and owner were very accommodating. When I had a problem with a soft mattress in one room they put me in another room with a better bed. They serve a nice little breakfast and they're always very polite. The room is clean, and even though a bit small it was perfect for two. They do welcome pads which is something you can't find very often and Long Beach. They are in the process of refurbishing rooms and they're doing a great job. Thank you Colonial Pool and Spa.
So this was a interesting experience. We came because the pictures were amazing and it was close to where we had to go. The pictures lied but we stuck it out due to the time. Our room had a leak in it and flooded a lil bit. Honestly because of the service (The Husband) we would go back again. Once he saw what was wrong, he immediately stepped up and did what he could to make our stay lovely. He was amazing. Because of him, we give the Colonial 4 stars
I love this place.. This is my favorite place to go when I need a break. Everyone is very friendly and the rooms are quiet and peaceful. There is no bed bugs and no roaches.. the best part about this place is they are making new rooms! I’m excited. I am their favorite customer! My son even loves this place! It’s very kid friendly. I always get the same room too because they love me!! It’s my room!!! Haha!! If any staff is reading this, you guys are wonderful and the best people there! Your always cheerful and you always are kind to my sweet boy! You guys are like our second family! Thank you. Your favorite customer, Clare!
The owners seemed to be bickering with each other. Our neighbors were loud, slamming the door, dog was barking. It felt like someone was watching from next room. Just felt weird.
